Congratulations to new Sahyun-Nim’s Raul Alvarez (7th Dan) from Honduras, Alejandro David Chaviel (7th Dan) Argentina and Sabum-Nim Pierson Guttierez Solis from Nicaragua.

The 1st FGMR Cup was held on Saturday June 22nd and was attended by not only First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha but also Canada, USA, Japan, Nicaragua, Argentina, Honduras, and South Africa. Three hundred and sixty competitions participated in both patterns and sparring events under the watchful eye of FGMR. Congratulations to those who attended this historic event.

At the 2024 AGM, an election was held for ITF-TAO President and it was unanimously decide that Mr. Rick Winsor would assume the role as President. Mr. Winsor is one of the founding members of ITF-TAO and brings with him years of knowledge and experience in the operation and goals of ITF-TAO. We thank Master Johnson for his years of service and we wish him well in his new role as Senior Advisor.

ITF-TAO International held our 2024 Annual General Meeting on the eve of the 1st FGMR Cup. In attendance were representatives from North America, Central America, South America, and Asia.
May 18-19, 2024
On the weekend of May 18th and 19th, Technical Director Mr. Mike Morningstar visited San Miguel, Argentina on invitation of ITF-TAO Argentina and Mr. Alejandro David Chaviel to conduct a Technical Seminar and Dan testing. Mr. Morningstar was accompanied by Mr. Jaskaran Tagger and Mr. Mitri Hanna Over 200 participates from yellow belt to 9th Dan Black Belt attended. The 6 hour seminar began with an intensive warm-up and moved right into basic movements, patterns and kicking drills. Black belts stayed behind for the last 3 hours and Kwang-Gae to Ul-Ji. A upper-Dan promotion test was also held on the Sunday morning. We look forward to 2026 when the ITF-TAO Annual Technical Conference will be held in San Miguel.
