On the weekend of August 22nd ITF-TAO Nicaragua President Mr. Pierson Solis played host to a Technical Seminar conducted by TAO Technical Director Mr. Mike Morningstar. Masters, instructors and students from across Nicaragua, Argentina, Honduras and Canada were in attendance. On the Friday evening the dignitaries were treated some traditional Nicaraguan music and dance. Saturdays seminar ran from 8:30am-5:00pm. Thank you Mr. Solis for being such a gracious host.

ITF-TAO Canada held their National Championships on Saturday June 28th in London, Ontario. The event was hosted by Oakridge Taekwon-Do and boasted 350+ competitors from across Canada. Black belt team competition was a new event and seven teams entered. Congratulations to all who attended and to Oakridge Taekwon-Do for hosting a wonderful event.

The Second Gup Examination of the Traditional Taekwon-Do Institute, directed by Sabum-Nim Diego Sánchez, was successfully held. Congratulations to all the students who achieved their new ranks. We are very proud of their effort, discipline, and demonstrated martial growth. Special thanks to Sabum-Nim Pablo Piris for his excellent work as an assistant at the event. Keep training with the same passion as always!

The ITF-TAO Annual Technical Conference-South America was held during May 13-15, 2026. The event which was hosted by Master Alejandro David Chaviel was a huge success with 70 red belt and above in attendance. ITF-TAO South America continues to grow under the leadership of Master Chaviel.
